The Reseller Portal is a dedicated DeskTime section for our reseller partners. From here, you can add new clients and create their DeskTime accounts. You can also manage your existing clients and monitor their subscription status.
How to get access to the Reseller Portal
This section is only available to DeskTime accounts with the Reseller user role. It can only be assigned manually by our team; you cannot make this change yourself. If you wish to become a DeskTime reseller, you will need to apply to the reseller program. Once your application is accepted, our team will change your DeskTime account role to Reseller.
During the application and onboarding process, our team will ask you which DeskTime account you wish to set as your Reseller account. This means that to become a reseller and gain access to the Reseller Portal, you will need a DeskTime account.
- If you already have a DeskTime account: We will change that account’s role to Reseller. It will continue working like usual and keep all your existing time tracking data and configuration, with the only change being the addition of the Reseller Portal.
- If you do not have a DeskTime account: Sign up to DeskTime and create a new user account. You can provide it to us when our team asks for an account that you wish to set as Reseller. Note: All new signups get a 14-day trial—we recommend using this time to get familiar with DeskTime and explore the new user experience!
Note: You can still use DeskTime as usual for your own time tracking purposes—the only difference with Reseller accounts is the addition of the Reseller Portal for managing your clients.
How to use the Reseller Portal
Once your account receives the Reseller role, a new section will appear in the left sidebar of DeskTime. It contains everything related to your reseller activities.
When you open the Reseller section for the first time, you must read and agree to the Reseller Terms & DPA. Once you have read them and press the Agree button at the bottom of the page, you will gain access to the Reseller Portal, which consists of three tabs:
- Clients: A centralized hub for adding new clients or managing your existing ones,
- Visual materials: DeskTime brand kit that you can use for marketing DeskTime in your channels,
- Terms & DPA: The terms and conditions of the reseller program and data protection agreement. You can access it at any time.
Clients
The Clients tab is where you manage all your clients. When you attract a new lead to DeskTime, press the Add new client button (1), which will create a new account for them and start a free 14-day trial, after which they can decide if they wish to keep on using DeskTime and become paid clients under your management.
In addition, the Clients tab displays an overview of your key metrics (2), and a table of all your clients (3) that you can search by name or filter by status (4). It can also be sorted by column based on ascending or descending order (5). From here, you can activate or suspend the client’s subscription and edit each client’s DeskTime plan, user seats, and billing cycle.

However, these assets must be used in accordance with the DeskTime Reseller Terms—refer to sections 4 (Intellectual Property Rights), 5 (Advertising), and 6 (Restrictions).
- DeskTime logo pack: a ZIP archive containing multiple color and B&W variations of the DeskTime logo, available as high-resolution PNG rasters and SVG vectors.
- DeskTime screenshots: a ZIP archive containing high-resolution PNG screenshots that showcase various DeskTime features with sample data.
- DeskTime banners: a ZIP archive containing various visual assets such as social media images or visualizations for specific DeskTime features.
