If you are adding a new user to your account, you may receive an error message. The message describes that the email has already been taken.
The problem is that the email address of the person you are trying to invite to your account is already taken. A user has created an individual account using that email address.
- One email address cannot be assigned to two different DeskTime users at the same time. Following GDPR, the option to delete the Account is restricted to the person who created it.
- In this case, the user needs to delete their existing DeskTime account. Only then will you be able to add it to your Company Account.
To delete an account, go to Settings → Account → Other → Delete Account.
