If your created export has a large amount of data that needs to be gathered (many employees and/or a large time period), the export might take a while to be created.
For very large files, it might take up to an hour to create them. No worries - you can leave the page and come back later. The export will still be generated if you close the page.
The progress bar will show you how many percentages have been created already:
