DeskTime works by charging per user seat. To see your active user seats, go to Settings > Billing > Subscription overview.
- To add or remove user seats, click on the Manage subscription & user seats button.
- You can add user seats with the + symbol or by entering a number in the input box. The billing calculator will automatically show you any changes in your subscription price.
Click the Confirm & pay button to add user seats.
Note! If DeskTime is unable to charge the payment method, no additional user seats will be added to your DeskTime account.
- You can remove user seats with the - symbol or by entering a number in the input box. Keep in mind you’ll only be able to remove the user seats that haven’t been assigned to a team member yet. You can read how to delete or archive team members here.
Click Save changes to remove user seats.
Note!
- You can downgrade anytime during the month, but no refunds will be issued.
- Deleting or archiving team members won’t automatically reduce user seats and pricing. If you want to reduce pricing, you have to remove user seats manually from the Manage subscriptions & user seats page.
- If you're a DeskTime user from India, due to a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) directive introducing additional security measures for recurring payments on cards issued in India, the automatic payment will be processed for 26 hours. During this time, you won't be able to add or remove any user seats.
